Lindsey Cornell has been assisting individuals in navigating employment goals for over 20 years. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Social Work with a Minor in Human Relations from St. Cloud State University and is a licensed Social Worker in the State of Minnesota.
Over the years she has connected with over 500 individuals in their employment journey providing a wide range of services. She especially enjoys listening to clients share their previous life experience and assisting them to relate it to their goals.
Additionally, Lindsey has management experience within workforce development programs, she has a keen understanding of hiring and onboarding new staff, training and developing a team.
Growing up, she learned a lot about disability from family members and friends which lead to her passion to work and advocate for people with a diagnosed disability or other barrier to obtain and maintain employment. Lindsey sees value in employment and recognizes it can be life changing.
Kara Herman started her career in Human Resources where she has provided support to employees for 5 years. She graduated from Metropolitan State University with a Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management.
Prior to joining Navigate, Kara spent her time in leave of absence management, assisting individuals to identify potential leave of absence options, ADA accommodations, and benefits. As Kara transitions into consulting, her prior experience connecting with employees to provide comprehensive guidance towards accommodations and benefits will allow her to serve as a valuable tool to assist individuals with diagnosed disabilities to reach their employment goals.
Kara is passionate about volunteer work, most recently time spent volunteering at Hope 4 Youth and The Minneapolis Women’s Rotary. Finding value in making an impact, Kara looks forward to serving individuals with disabilities and other barriers to reaching their goals.
Navigate Career Consulting assists individuals in reaching their employment and educational goals through person centered planning.
Services are provided to individuals through a referral from the State of Minnesota Vocational Rehabilitation Services or through self referral. Navigate Career Consulting has a contract for services through the State of Minnesota.
